[ooc: this'll be REALLY short because I have literally NO time.] Blackstar sat stonily beneath the tall tree. ShadowClan was the first to arrive today, and he preferred to sit and mingle with his Clanmates before the other Clans arrived -- no point in jumping into the tree before it was needed. Seeing Onestar jump off the treebridgething and onto the island, Blackstar dipped his head. "Onestar."
[ooc: I'll RP Onestar 'cause he has no RPer, and we need all the leaders here.] Onestar padded slowly onto the island. Blackstar was already there, sitting under the tree. Glancing back at the line of WindClanners behind him, Onestar purred happily. His Clan was great. "Ashfoot," he called quietly. "Are there any important things I may have forgotten that I need to talk about?" [/size]

Ashfoot followed her leader onto the island in silence. Blackstar with Shadowclan had already arrived at the gathering. She looked behind her quickly. Their patrol may have been small, but it still showed that WindClan was strong. Nightcloud, Crowfeather, Tornear, Harepaw, Morningflower, and Kestrelpaw. Barkface had stayed behind tonight. She turned back towards Onestar as he spoke to her. "No, there is nothing important," she said. With a flick of her tail, she left her leader's side and took her place beside the ShadowClan deputy, Russetfur.
Crowfeather entered the gathering with his head low. Why Onestar continued to punish him so greatly, he did not know. Leafpool would surely be here with her Clan. One sniff told him that ThunderClan had not arrived yet. He sighed in relief and cast a quick glance at Nightcloud. She was his mate, and he should be loyal to her, but he didn't love her enough. Not near as much as he should. He saw his mother, Ashfoot, seperate from the leader, and he followed her, dispersing into the gathering.
Kestrelpaw padded onto the island behind Ashfoot. It was surprising that he was allowed to come alone without Barkface. He was only an apprentice! Perhaps this was Barkface's way of saying he was ready to become a true medicine cat. He smiled at the thought. He saw Littlecloud, and he glanced at Onestar. Ashfoot had already left his side, so he bounded over to Littlecloud, comforted by the older medicine cat's presence.
Morningflower jumped down from the tree with a grunt. As an elder, she enjoyed coming to the gatherings. She could tell stories to all the apprentices here, and exchange happy memories with her friends from other Clans. Only ShadowClan was here right now. ThunderClan and RiverClan would be here shortly she was sure. The deputy, Ashfoot, flicked her tail, the signal for the Clan to disperse. She didn't see any Shadowclan elders present and she growled softly. She padded over to a quiet corner of the island to wait. {OOC; I'm gonna play Green's charries, just for this gathering, if that's okay....If not I can delete the posts } Nightcloud was close to Crowfeather as they entered the gathering. Their pelts weren't touching though, she wasn't going to remind him they were mates. He probably didn't care. By the scent in the air, she confirmed ThunderClan wasn't here yet. That meant the cat-stealing ThunderClan medicine cat had not yet arrived. She growled slightly at the image of the she-cat in her mind. She noticed Crowfeather pad off into the gathering and she followed him, not wanting him to be too far away from her.
Tornear leaped down from the tree bridge with ease. Surprisingly, seeing as he was an older warrior, surely soon to join the elders'. He checked to make sure that his apprentice, Harepaw, was following. As soon as Harepaw was a warrior he would become an elder. He didn't feel old and he surely didn't want to be an elder. He forced these thoughts from his mind as he pushed his way through the clearing. He hoped Onestar mentioned the pesky ThunderClan warrior, Squirrelflight, being so close to the border. Her and her sister really got under his skin, especially since Squirrelflight's sister was the cat who tried to turn Crowfeather against his Clan.
Harepaw followed Tornear off the tree bridge. His mentor seemed preoccupied by something and he decided it was best not to bother him. Tornear began to drift off to some place and Harepaw wondered if he should follow. He decided against it, he was sick and tired of Tornear anyway, the bossy fur-ball. He glanced around for any ShadowClan apprentices, since that was the only Clan here. There didn't appear to be any apprentices present and he groaned softly.

Firestar stalked up to the island with his head held high. He was happy with his gang of warriors, Brambleclaw, Squirrelflight, Leafpool, Graystripe, Sandstorm, Cloudtail, Thornclaw, Mousefur, Jaypaw, Hollypaw, Lionpaw, and Berrypaw. He leaped up onto the great tree on the island and stood with the other leaders. Onestar and Blackstar where here, but Leopardstar seemed to be running a little bit late. The tom dipped his head in greeting to the other leaders, he wished he would not have to tell Onestar about his warriors behavouirs at the border but he knew his Clan would be very mad at him if he did not.
Squirrelflight strutted along proudly with her father. His head was held high, and she did the same. She was proud to be part of ThunderClan, and she felt pity for those cats who thought ThunderClan might be even a little bit weak. When she walked past Tornear she hissed under her breath, 'Who let the stupid hairball come?' But a look from Leafpool made her walk away from the tom with out saying much to him. Tonight was the night of truce, and she did not want to be the cat that broke that truce.
Leafpool sighed as she walked with her sister. Why did she have to be here? Crowfeather was bound to be here and she looked forward to seeing him, but she did not want to see him. It would cause too much pain. So instead Leafpool fallowed her sister, she did not feel like going to other cats and saying high so she just was Squirrelflight's shadow. But when she saw Crowfeather she just had to say hi to him. 'H-h-hello Crowfeather. How have things been in your Clan?'
Graystripe raced along with the rest of the Clan. He loved the smell of all four Clans together, but he noticed that RiverClan was not here yet. He flicked his ears and noticed Squirrelflight and Leafpool leave together. He sighed and knew that those two would never ever stop being with each other. Graystripe then thought of Millie and wished that Firestar has asked her to come. But he knew that it would be best to wait a moon or two before she could come to the Gathering. He sighed and sat with some ShadowClan members.
Jaypaw walked with Hollypaw and Lionpaw and said nothing. His heart was beating madly and once he got there he ran away from Hollypaw and Lionpaw. He began to talk with some WindClan warriors.

Snowbird sat beside Blackstar, bright eyes alight as she looked over the cats that came to support the four clans in the forest. The lovely white she-cat was proud, but somewhat young. She believed in Shadowclan, and having true blood to your clan, but she wasn't what one would call. . .stingy about said subject. Other cats from other clans weren't her enemies, but her rivals. And as all cats know, rivalry is something that makes you stronger, and hate tends to make a feline evil. Snowbird didn't hate the other clans, no, she was too proud to give in to that sort of thing.
She at tall and stayed silent beside her leader, she was an active warriess, seconded only by those higher in power. Sometimes she thought that maybe she could be deputy, and even leader someday. . .only time could tell. Across from her sat the thunderclan cats, and she couldn't help but take an extra glance at Firestar. He was the strangest of the leaders, Onestar coming in a close second. The orange tabby was so. . .perfect at times. It irked her, and she had to work to keep the dislike from her eyes and the growl from reaching her throat.
"Seems like Riverclan is late." The she cat meowed quietly, though it was such a sing-song tone that it made her seem much less shy than it would have come off otherwise. [/blockquote]

Blackstar sat, silent and motionless, beside Snowbird. Following her gaze, he noted that the white warrior stared at Firestar, and wondered what she thought of the ThunderClan leader. Blackstar knew she was a strong senior warrior, and he often regretted not being closer to her. Well, the white tom thought. Perhaps it's the time to change that. Blackstar wasn't exactly young -- more like middle-aged -- but he still had most of his life ahead of him. He still had no mate, and though he had taken a liking to some she-cats once or twice, he had never gone farther than just friends... so maybe it was time to take a chance and converse with Snowbird a bit. He opened his mouth to speak, but was cut off as Snowbird spoke first. "Seems like RiverClan is late." Blackstar cleared his throat, coughing, surprised that the she-cat had spoken. "Yes," he said, finding his voice at last. "Strange -- Leopardstar is usually quite prompt. I wonder what she is up to this time." It felt strange for Blackstar to talk about Clan politics -- or at least border the topic -- with Snowbird. I should talk with Snowbird more often. Blackstar rephrased his earlier thoughts, sighing. Sometimes he wished he wasn't the leader so he'd have more time to socialize.
Onestar sat silently and stiffly next to Blackstar, feeling rather awkward as the ShadowClanner talked with one of his warriors. Nothing was really going on in WindClan right now, and he wouldn't have much to talk about at the Gathering... but he would definitely mention that his Clan, small and weak as they might seem, was thriving. Sometimes, I fell like WindClan is always looked at as just little weaklings. ShadowClan is looked down upon, and ThunderClan is known for being soft, but everyone thinks that we WindClan cats are tiny compared to the others. I think we need a better image. Nodding, Onestar resolved to try and change the way his Clan was looked at.
